Throughout August and September, Adelphi International welcomed a total of 154 students from twenty different countries around the world!

During our first intake, 108 MAP students and seven IAP students arrived at Adelphi. Throughout orientation, students attended presentations about Academics, Health Services, student services and more!

Students also explored some of the wonderful things that Garden City has to offer, including a trip to the Roosevelt Field Mall, America’s 10th largest mall! On the last day of orientation, students took a trip to Long Island’s Jones Beach for some sun, sand and good food!

Pre-sessional students will take classes at the ILSC school in NYC before coming to Adelphi to complete their studies. Many of our pre-sessional students live at the St. George residence hall in Brooklyn, and during orientation we welcomed our students to their beautiful new dorms.

In late September, we added 32 EAP andIMG_3766 AAP students to the AUI family! Upon arrival, AUI staff helped move students into residence halls and show them around campus. Our students had the chance to open bank accounts and learn about the services available on campus. Orientation wrapped up with another great shopping trip to Roosevelt Field Mall!

At the end of orientation, we asked our new students what their favorite part of orientation was. Here’s what a few of our students had to say!

The Adelphi International team is thrilled to finally have our first cohort of students on campus, and we want to send a warm welcome out to all of our new panthers!
