Program Description
The 16-week intensive English program aligns with the university semester to improve students’ academic skills in listening, speaking, reading, and writing. The core English language curriculum consists of four levels aligned with the Common European Framework for Languages (CEFR).
Program Structure
Courses prepare degree-seeking students to efficiently read academic texts, write coherent academic assignments and participate in their classroom lectures and discussions with confidence. Students will take:
- Applied Integrated Skills: 10 hours
The course integrates listening, speaking, reading, and writing to improve students’ academic and practical English skills. - Grammar in Context: 10 hours
The course focuses on grammar through writing skills. Students write in a variety of academic genres necessary for university coursework.
