Professional Development

All undergraduate students are required to live in Adelphi-approved housing for the duration of their program, unless they have an approved housing waiver form. Graduate students are not currently eligible to live on campus, but are encouraged to look into living at EHS St. George in Brooklyn Heights.

Dedicated Career Advising

Career advising helps students identify individual career goals, with proactive outreach to follow up on their learning outcomes. Further one-on-one guidance helps build students’ confidence in their career journey, prior to and after program progression.

Career-Oriented Workshops & Networking

Résumé and cover letter support, along with written and oral communication training, builds a greater understanding of students’ desired careers. Career service resources equip students with the tools needed to build a social media presence, beneficial in the ever-changing business world. Optional workshop opportunities also provide preparation for the world of networking. Students will have the opportunity to build on these skills, as they benefit from access to networking opportunities and internships. Company tours, career fairs, internship support and placement assistance help students further achieve their goals during their career journey.
